TORRINGTON—A local 10-year-old, Samantha Hall, is in stage five organ failure, in need of a new kidney.
Samantha Hall is a sweet 10 year old girl. She was diagnosed with a very rare kidney disease in April 2013 just around her birthday. At that time her kidney's were functioning at 70%. At this point in time they are only functioning at 8%. Both of her kidneys are diseased, and she is in need of a new kidney to survive. Her doctors are hoping to find her a "live" organ donor to proceed with a transplant in February 2014.
